It's no secret that Fallout 3 was 2008's Game of the Year (it even says so right on the box). So, you can understand my excitement toward Fallout: New Vegas when I hear that it's confirmed to use the same engine as Fallout 3, but with tweaks, including some VATS improvements.

Dream Chronicles apparently released a few years ago for the PC, and is now coming to the PSN. Hudson's game appears to be a cross between an adventure game and a hidden object game.

"Follow subtle clues to help Faye find her missing husband and escape from the mysterious sleeping spell that has taken over the town of Wish! Stay sharp and focused and you just may unravel this intriguing, dreamy mystery!"

No release date was given.

L.A. Noire Arriving This Fall?

According to a tweet from Geoff Keighley, Rockstar plans to release L.A. Noire this September. As we all know, release dates are seldom concrete, and a lot can happen between now and then. But if that date is real, we should start to see and hear a lot more about the game before too long; at least if Rockstar wants it to actually sell.

Question Of The Week[end]

Tagged: [Weekend Poll]

As I sit here, taking a break from MAG, I realized that I still have a ton of unfinished games from 2009, some unstarted, even, and I even have some 2008 games that I have yet to touch. My backlog is about to get a lot bigger, too. As if White Knight Chronicles sitting there mocking me wasn't enough, we're mere days away from many more games on my radar - BioShock 2, Heavy Rain, Aliens vs Predator, Final Fantasy XIII, and God of War 3. So I gotta ask...

If you really can't wait another 6 days to try out Heavy Rain, you can head over to the Precinct 52 site and submit the proper evidence to be rewarded with a European PSN code that will allow you to download the Heavy Rain demo early.

Note that this is cheating, but here are the four pieces of evidence you need to submit: Short cigarette (117b), Origami bird, Coffee shop C ("Diner"), and tyre tracks (117h).

The server was hammered earlier, but traffic has died down.

L.A. Noire Loses PS3 Exclusivity

L.A. Noire was previously a PS3-exclusive from Rockstar Games, but they have now, unsurprisingly, confirmed that it is in development for Xbox 360 in addition to PS3.

Rockstar loves money, and Microsoft has billions of it to give away, so I wouldn't be shocked if the 360 version gets temporary exclusive DLC, or The Agent goes multi-platform as well. This generation is all about the fake exclusivity. Except Metal Gear Solid 4, right guys?

High Voltage is working on a formerly Wii-exclusive shooter called The Grinder. Wii fanboys were excited about it, claiming it was their Left4Dead, just for them. Well, no longer. High Voltage have announced it is planned to ship on all three major consoles as well as PC.
