Umbrella Tree is the band that my sister-in-law is in, and I love 'em. I figured I'd put up a few of their videos, for you guys to check out.

Uncle William from "The Letter C"

Special guest star: That's my brother Ryan (married to Jill, from the band), who's working on the guitars and mouthing the words.

Ocean Sober from "The Letter C"

This one doesn't have them in it, but it's a fantastic song from their third album.

Nursing the Patience from "The Church & The Hospital"

That's my brother again, who keeps getting things handed to him, in the shower.

@Dana Olson: LOL Funny enough, my brother actually repairs guitars. The little workshop he's in, is my sister's boyfriend's (goldfish's brother's, etc etc.) home set-up. Those were probably missing stuff, and just used for parts.
Oh, and...did you really stop after 5 seconds of the first video?! Come on, man...!

One pretty cool thing about the "Ocean Sober" video: some of the spin-art that was done in that video was used as the disc art; one on the CD and one on the DVD (they made videos for every song). I won the spin-art used on the DVD, in a raffle they did at the premiere presentation of the videos.

its good to see ryan, i love jill and zacks voice contrast and the music sounds full for a 3 piece band which is hard to do(Rush has mastered that art)and guitars were meant to be smashed, thats why they call it el cabong

@dozer: I know that Zach does some subtle instrument layering in the recording (making it technically more than just the three of them), and I like to see what they do about that, when playing live. It's never disappointing, or any less full of a sound. Plus, Zach's charisma sells Umbrella Tree in a big way. The very first time I saw them play (actually, I believe it was their first show), Zach was stumbling and stomping all over the place, and towering over Jill. Hearing "Wisemen" for the first time, as Zach balanced himself atop Derek's kick drum, while he did his solo...I was sold.

I stopped watching after they destroyed guitars that they could have just as easily shipped to me. Unless you're Kurt Cobain, you've got no business smashing a guitar.
