Seriously, If you can't beat me at BlazBlue and the only thing you can do is to pull the ethernet cord from your ps3 in rage and give me an incomplete match point then perhaps its time you found a new fighting game.

Here is an idea, play Soul Caliber, chances are everyone you know will be just as bad as you are at it and you wont have to quit in a fit of rage from trying to win with X X X X X X X UP X X X X X X X UP only to get your ass handed to you with a game ending Astral heat Combo.

I'm hoping for an HD version of Guilty Gear.

I've had people pull that shit in SF4 when I was playing online, I'm eagerly anticipating more of that with SSF4.

I am just frustrated because I cant seem to take it home tonight. I win one round and almost win the second only to get M Bison'd 2 in a row.

And when this doesnt happen I get either rage quits or someone 70 levels above me who doesnt let me hit the ground.

This is exactly why I don't play fighting games. Nothing is more infuriating to me then getting my ass handed to me so bad that it doesn't even count as "playing" the game. Of all the games I've played, fighting games have cost me more controllers than anything. As for SF4, I played that game about 5 times and its been collecting dust ever since because I couldn't even beat the computer on normal difficulty. Kudos to those who are good at those games, but I'm not one of them.

@TWIZTID1: I'm with you, brother! Except I don't break controllers, and instead of SF4, it's Tekken 6. I actually like Tekken 6, but I don't play it very much. Just not really interested in the genre as a whole anymore.

I haven't broken any controllers, but sometimes when I go several matches straight of getting my ass handed to me only to win a few and have those few quit in a fit of rage I come close.

I love fighting games, but I hate the Tekken franchise.

@Tayler Bell: agreed.
I just wish I could get better at BlazBlue. I seem to be stuck in a rut.

However I am please I just destroyed someone who was obviously spamming the drive button.

@Tayler Bell: I'm not surprised. You actively try to hate the things I like.

@Dana Olson: No, I don't like Tekken because it's combo system is bullshit, most of the time people button mash and it looks like the characters are having seizures, nothing really flows well. It's always had consistently bad animations in each incarnation which baffled me because Namco also makes Soul Calibur, which has always moved with more fluidity.

I hated the franchise before I even found out you played it. In fact I didn't know you played ANY fighting games. Do you like Mortal Kombat? I hate that franchise too.

@Tayler Bell: yes. I love Mortal Kombat. Because you hate it.

I know what you're talking about WRT the animations in Tekken... I haven't really noticed that as much in Tekken 6, but again, I hardly played it so far. It's probably there, but maybe not as bad, or I just don't notice it anymore. But the save file can be backed up, oddly, because Namco also makes Soul Calibur IV, which has a copy-protected save file.
