Just wanted to let you guys know that my friend Will started an account on Tawkn yesterday, the day he got his first PS3. He has FFXIII right now, but I believe I heard mention of Borderlands and Red Dead Redemption on the horizon. I'll let him expand on that...

@Dana Olson: Yeah I gave FF13 a good try and probably will pick it up again at some point down the road. But I just got a PS3 and really didn't want to spend 15 to 20 hours bored out of my mind till things picked up. So I got rid of it and picked up two other awesome games instead. Kinda sucks cause one of my big reasons for buying a PS3 was to play FF13. But no worries got other good games to play that are much much better.

@Wsmith205: I originally bought a PS3 for the Blu-ray player. These days I rarely watch Blu-rays - I spend most of my free time gaming.

Will, you might like White Knight Chronicles, too. So far, it's better than FF13 in my opinion. Disclaimer: I haven't played much of FF13, but I finished WKC. WKC doesn't look as hot, but I liked it.

Dana, yeah Jay was telling me that I might like WKC. I will probably check that out. I have looked into it a bit and looks like a good game. I don't care as much about graphics and such as I care about actual game play and depth to it. Nice graphics are always a plus though.
Tayler, I played through Dragon Age on my computer and loved it. I have not heard of Disgaea though. I will have to look into it.

@Wsmith205: The best way I can describe Disgaea is "Final Fantasy Tactics on steroids... and pixie sticks".
WKC was a pretty great game, I like it a lot more than FFXIII.
I saw your reply about how he returned FF13 and got two of the best games of the past two years instead, Fallout 3 and Borderlands. Nothing like setting the bar high right off the bat.
