If you're looking to get your hands on Resistance Retribution, you may be able to do so right now. At least one Blockbuster store in Ontario, Canada is selling it already. I know, because I have it in my hands.

I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen. Here you go.

If you aren't so lucky, you only have just over a week left to wait (in North America, at least).

Wow...$40 bucks!

Too bad the UMD drive on my PSP died.

Oh...my desktop too.

Yeah, I seem to remember that, with the rare exception of a title arriving with express instructions NOT to, we would prep and put out game titles as soon as they arrived. Things may have changed in the last 3 years, but breaking street date on game releases was never as big of a deal as with movies, where the fine was thousands of dollars.

The odd thing is, they would NOT sell me Resistance 2 early. I called them, they said they had it, I rushed there, then the guy goes, "oh yeah, well, I can't sell it to you until tomorrow."

@Jason LaFave: Yup. I have for a while. *points at avatar* Wifey likes it... It annoys me. It's good for catching food that I might have otherwise missed, though.

@Dana Olson: Yeah, I remembered the avatar pic, but I couldn't remember if it was just a set of monster chops, or what. As for R2 being held back, and Retribution not, that IS strange. Most likely, it's bad communication amongst managers. It was always an unofficial policy, anyways.

I could never do a beard, personally. I have trouble enough, with the hair I can barely manage; my hair's long, and ends just above the small of my back.

P.S... I'm looking forward to Resistance PSP. Made by the guys who developed the Syphon Filter PSP games, which sold damn well? Color me sold.

Meaning, if you got a douchebag manager who felt like saying no, just because you asked (maybe he thought you looked shady, what with the beard and everything ), he wouldn't be WRONG, per se...
