MAG Beta and PSN are SLOOOOOOW today.

Downloaded the MAG Beta(around 350mb file) that took over 2 hours to download. After installing it had to download an update for MAG Beta(33mb file) which took 20 minutes. After that the MAG Beta decided to download another update(2.5gb file) which it is still downloading now and probably will be for the next 10 hours. And no it's not my connection speed that's slow it's PSN. I have 10mbps down...

Having never owned a PS2, I find that I have an overwhelming amount of games to play and not enough time to play them. As far as PS2 goes, I currently own, and am in the middle of playing. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Yakuza 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Odin Sphere. And that's just the games I have purchased so far. I have an Amazon wishlist that goes about 20 more deep.

By chance I was able to get my hands on a copy of Killzone 2 last night at midnight. I say "by chance" because my local Wal-Mart apparently only got 7 copies of the game in and I was lucky enough to get the last copy.

Mirror's Edge Freezing FTL

I am on the last level of the game and it started freezing on me constantly. Damnit this pisses me off. I know Dana said his copy was freezing too. Did he ever find a fix? Mine keeps freezing when i enter the ventilation ducts after exiting the elevator shaft.

Left 4 Dead Demo

I went ahead and pre-ordered Left 4 Dead over steam, cause lets face it i by every valve game. And as an added bonus to the pre-order i got 5 bucks off the price and access to the demo. A descent sized demo i might add. It includes around a half hour's worth of gameplay (i.e. 2 full levels) with offline and online modes.

So at long last i shelled out the cash for a new pc. My old one had a 2gig AMD Barton 3200 processor, 1gig of sdram(not DDR), 40gig HDD, and an ati radeon x1600 AGP graphics card. I am not a huge PC game so my old PC didn't really bother me all that much. As long as it could run The Orange Box with descent(not maxed mind you) graphics.

So i was checking my Microsoft live mail account that i use for my xbox live stuff and guess what i find. My Resistance 2 Beta key. Yes, there it was, my email from PlayStation Underground containing my Beta key for buying episode 3 of Qore, but there is a problem. I ONLY use this account for xbox live. Someone should pass a federal law that allows you to sleep in as long as you want when it's raining out. That way you can sleep in with no worries of missing school or loosing your job. That would rule. Well now off to the university to fill my brain full of knowledge that i will forget by next semester.

Just got back from Wal-Mart and they didn't get any of the new games releasing today that i was interested in. All they got today that was new was BioShock for PS3 and Fable 2. This wouldn't be a problem accept Wal-Mart is the only place in my town to buy new games and the next closest place is about 50 miles away. I have the episode of Qore that you need to have to get into the beta. Downloading it thru Qore doesn't work and i haven't gotten a code of any kind in my email. WTF? Am i doing something wrong here?

If you don't know what playswitch.com is, it's a site where you can buy, sell and trade games with gamers. Playswitch.com was amazing site that saved me from every having to deal with Gamestop's BS used market. But all good things must come to an end.
