Well, tonight my wife, who has never ever played or shown an interest in playing a shooter, or any online or first-person game for that matter, asked if she could try MAG. She did the tutorial mission twice, and then jumped online. I watched her get her first kill, and then got taken out. She then laughed and said "it's kinda fun... Uh oh, I'm hooked."

The world works seems to amuse itself by handing out bitter lessons laced in irony. Today, I witnessed this cruel fact first hand. I had just finished off an "ultra extreme fever" filled session of Peggle to apply myself in writing an english essay when i stood up and knocked over my cup of coffee into a large puddle on the white carpet. (that's what i get for trying to escape procrastination) ...

Bought the Blu-Ray today, watched it, remembered why it was the best film I saw last year. Fantastic. Redeemed my digital copy through the PS Store, intrigued by the means at which this was accomplished and that I was able to redeem the copy weeks after it supposedly expired.
