I've had this documentary highly recommended by more than one person, and I finally watched it tonight. It was really great, and I recommend it in turn, to all of you gamers (umm...that means everyone here). If you don't know, it's about the guy who set the Donkey Kong record in 1982, and a guy in 2005 who attempted to beat it. Great stuff.
Those old-school, classic gamer types are in a league of their own, in my opinion; one that I can't approach. I could never memorize all 50-something levels of a game like Donkey Kong (or Centipede, or Galaga, or Pac-Man, or...), and just drill away. That's pretty hardcore.
If you've seen it, do you agree? Did you also enjoy it? I'd like to keep this spoiler-free, for those who may not have seen it yet. Of course, if anyone gets into details, we can just use spoiler text.
